Hi. I diabetic and got scratched by a cat- it got extremely infected and I went to see a doctor. All my money went onto the visit and now I can't afford the medical supplies and antibiotics to keep it clean.

I hate doing this but I am desperate.

I need antibiotics, probiotics, bandages, gauze, iodine, hydrogen peroxide 3% and some other stuff. It all comes to about a 100$, but absolutely anything would help immensely.

HI GUYS! I have diabetic retinopathy and had a lens replacement and a vitrectomy surgery on 14th and 15th of April.

I am recovering well and I am religiously sticking to the schedule of putting drops and ointment in my eye, not once missing a dosage. I am also sleeping the way I am supposed to, as told by my doctor (no lying on my back ever, always sleeping on the side etc).

Anyways, one of the drops is Tropicamide, which dilate the pupil and temporarily relax eye focusing muscles. This makes my pupil permanently dilated and fixed and I feel a lot of discomfort when in lit up room and especially if I am outside in direct sunlight. It hurts,I have stabbing pain.

I am wondering if this is normal and what are your experiences? I would love to hear more about it from people with first hand experience.
