2024 third row cable failure

The dealer diagnosed a broken cable in the passenger side third row seat as the reason I cannot fold it closed anymore. They had to order the part and schedule a later time to repair it. It is covered under 3 year and also the 8 year warranty was confirmed coverage. When I got home i noticed that the seat back was not reinstalled (no big deal) which give me a good view of the damage.

My MPG from Houston to the Rockies

I just did a road 2000 mile trip in my 2024 and averaged 24.2 MPG. This is my first long haul in this car and I thought you might like the data. I’m usually around 17 MOG for suburban driving.

Also I can recommend the Pirelli Scorpion AS 4 tires. They are quieter and have better fuel economy than stock tires.

Should I take over maintenance on my 2024?

I bought the 8 year warranty and I don’t want to void it. My dealership gave me two years of free oil changes and my final free service is coming up now. After that I want to change my own oil, oil filter, engine air and cabin air filters. Do I need to document this? How? What will be other maintenance items that come up that I should not try to handle myself? What should the dealership definitely do? What items should a local shop do?

Thanks!

I’m looking for Coolers

I want a cooler that fits in the back of the ascent when the third row is up. Anyone have a recommendation for this?

In bush planes (Savage Norden) I hate nose diving when I’m trying to brake on landing. With my new HOTAS I can bind Left Brake axis and Right brake axis to the X slider (which is default bound to the rudder). This is great because I can modulate brake pressure and come to an even stop. Problem is, after I land the brakes are locked on and will not release unless I gently hold the slider towards the left. I’m not sure if this can be fixed the way I would like it. I’ve tried several things. Any ideas?
