My pride and joy (before / after)

I had never owned a pilea before, the first photo is of it in April of this year when I received it as a gift from my partner. It was in a sad state since I didn't know how to care for one. I learned as much as possible and this is how she looks now in October. She might not be perfect but she's doing much better. Her large leaves and color bring me lots of joy 🍀💚 Any care tips are welcome.

Is this edema or a pest?

Hi all,

I'm unsure what this Kalanchoe Blossifeldiana has on its leaves.

I thought it could be pests but I checked thoroughly and haven't seen anything.

The plant used to be on a soil mix and I noticed it was staying too wet, so I changed it into a succulent mix. The new growth seems unaffected until now. I thought this might be overwatering damage of some sort but I am not sure. The trunk is quite healthy and firm. I thought it could be edema or some sort of fungus?

It's on a north facing window. It's always been like this. Scared to move it to my south facing window with other plants to prevent any infestation

How is she doing?

She's my first pilea and is about 5 months old. I had her on a north facing window (third photo) until today since I noticed some cupping and leaves becoming a bit more pale. I moved her to a south facing window but not letting her get direct sunlight yet. I think I've been giving her too little fertilizer, once a month. The water where I live is quite hard, should I mix it with distilled water? I want her to grow beautifully, any tips are highly appreciated. The scratch marks are from when I tried cleaning dust from the leaves but the cloth I used was too abrasive.
