terrible fomo of not going abroad...do you all feel the same?

I want to go abroad—not necessarily to settle there, but to experience life in a different country while I’m still in my 20s.

My qualifications are decent enough to pursue a master’s, and I have a ~₹13 LPA job in India. But honestly, the FOMO is real. The US, Australia, Germany, Ireland, the UK—everywhere seems to be tightening immigration, while their own economies are struggling. It sometimes feels like no country really wants us anymore.

At the same time, staying in India feels like I might miss out on the experience of living abroad, meeting different people, travelling, and simply seeing what life is like somewhere completely different for a few years.

Do you guys feel the same way? Is there still a country where an Indian in their 20s can realistically go, experience a different kind of life, build a career, and enjoy a few years abroad without everything being an immigration nightmare?

Women What do you think of guys who don’t do any substance abuse?

I’ve never smoked or consumed alcohol in my life, so substance use has always been completely outside my lifestyle.
I recently dated a girl who smoked joints, drank, and had experimented with things like ecstasy.
Personally, it was a pretty big turn-off for me. Not because I judge people who do it, but because I’ve simply never been around that lifestyle and don’t want it for myself or in a relationship.
For the women here: what do you think about guys like me who don’t smoke, drink, or use any recreational drugs at all?

lost my virginity casually and now I feel weird about it

I’m 24M and recently lost my virginity to an older woman I met on a date. We hooked up on the first date, and for me it was completely casual. She wanted us to date afterward, but I didn’t because I’m not really looking for a relationship right now—I feel like I’m not where I want to be in life yet.
The thing is, I’ve been carrying a lot of baggage about it. I always imagined my first time would be with someone I genuinely loved and had a connection with. Instead, it happened with someone who is opposite who did lot of casuals, who smoked up a lot and whom I had just met and probably would never have imagined being with.
I know it shouldn’t matter this much, but I can’t shake the feeling that I lost something meaningful in a way I didn’t want to.

Is building an accessory brand still worth it like daily objects?

I have a genuine doubt. I’m thinking about starting a brand that focuses on simple, minimalistic iPhone accessories. The idea is to begin with premium iPhone cases—not flashy, just clean designs with excellent quality. Over time, I’d expand into other accessories and eventually introduce a few biohacking-focused products, such as open-ear earphones.
My goal isn’t to be the cheapest or the most expensive brand. I want to offer premium quality at a price that feels like the sweet spot for Indian customers.
My question is: does this idea still have room to succeed, or is the accessories market already too crowded with brands like DailyObjects, Spigen, and others? Is there still enough opportunity to build a meaningful brand, or would you advise against entering this space?

38 days situationship and now can’t forget her and can’t frickin jerkoff😭😭

I lost my virginity to her. She had a body count of around 4–5, I guess, but honestly, it didn’t matter. What we had was beautiful.
She deleted her dating apps and was ready to give up her open relationship for me. We had initially agreed to keep things casual, but somewhere along the way, we started falling for each other.
The thing is, she was heavily into substance abuse and had a history of depression. But somehow, her eyes were enough to make me overlook everything.
Then came the catch—I had resigned from my job and was already stressed about my future. I felt like I couldn’t handle another character-development phase in my life, let alone start a serious relationship.
Now I can’t get her out of my head. We were together for only 10 days (connected for 38 days)yet losing her hurts so much.
Here I am the villain I refused her because idk why but it is that lot of substance abuse ,alcohol and multiple partners and I mean I have so much luggage how can I adjust yours…her doe eyes just make me forget everything and damn man I thought I could never ever fall for anyone but 10 days ughh😭
I hope I was more of a human
I can’t even jerk off. Every time I try, her face comes to mind. And before I can even finish, I feel like my eyes might beat me to it and start ejaculating tears instead.
Ugh… 😭😭😭😭

Need opinions of desi living and leaving abroad?

I’m a 24-year-old male, and I have one major doubt. If I want to start a business abroad, can I do so while working a job there, or do countries only allow it once you get citizenship? Secondly, I’m considering pursuing a master’s degree in Finance or Public Policy abroad, but the situation everywhere seems messed up. There are hardly any jobs, universities admit students mainly to earn money, and opportunities afterward seem uncertain. I’ve explored Australia, England, the USA, Germany — everything looks unstable. Is there any country left where it’s still worth going? Also, can my parents eventually settle there permanently with me, or should I drop this plan altogether and pursue something else in India? What are your opinions?

Is any country left where it is not messed up?kindly enlighten me to clear the fog

my_qualifications are as follow I completed graduation in electrical engineering 2024 and have approximately two years of work experience in the field of policy (technical side). Please tell me which countries would be best, or if there are any countries left in Europe, the USA, Australia, or anywhere in the world where I can pursue a master's degree in Finance or Public Policy and build a career.

To those who went to Germany, America, Australia, or Canada: please share your opinion. What do you feel? Is it really worth it? Or should I just switch jobs and stay in India? Obviously, there is the aspect of money and the aspect of FOMO.
