How do I finally walk away from my ex?
Edit: So I got a few comments saying this was too long so here is a shorter version. The longer one might be in the comments if anyone is interested.
So my (26M) girlfriend (23F) broke up with me in January after dating for over a year in a long distance relationship. We continued to still talk almost daily since then and have even visited each other’s cities since(currently planning on spending new years together).
However I have now decided that this arrangement isn’t really working for me and it’s time for me to walk away. If I don’t initiate contact with her at certain times then I literally would not hear from her. We would go from daily talking to no word for days when I don’t put in that initial effort. Currently going through one of those and decided not to text her anymore. Do I go through with that and end things that way or man up and let her know officially?
