I did a sweetening spell for two people in my life (my partner and my parent). There is a lot of resentment in my parent's mind against my partner.
The result is that my parent speaks well of my partner sometimes, but also sometimes my parent speaks very harshly of my partner.
Before I did the spell, my parent never spoke well of my partner.
I'm not able to understand if the spell isn't working or if it's working sometimes or does this usually happen in a sweetening spell.

I am a beginner practitioner, so this is all I could come up with as a question.
I had listened to this playlist, Youtube Top 50 Latin Songs (it was auto generated probably by Youtube) and it was on shuffle.
I vividly remember this song whose music video contained the singer and backup dancers in a room will red wallpaper and floors (by red I mean bright red), and everyone was wearing bright red latex or vinyl gloves. At one point of the video they were all showing their hands to the screen (wearing the gloves). Maybe I could be mistaken and they might have painted their hands red but I remember it was bright red.
It was by a female singer. It was most likely RnB or pop song. I did not understand the language of the song but it probably contained words in title like "Como" and "Tu".
