I built a free World Cup game - it simulates every match 5,000 times. Argentina tops the bracket with just 10.1%

Game Title: Dobitka

Playable Link: https://dobitka.pl/en/mundial?utm_source=reddit

Platform: Browser (mobile and desktop)

Description: You pick a national team, set your lineup and three coaching calls, and a Monte Carlo engine replays each match 5,000 times - extra time, penalties and group tiebreakers included. Then you collect points against friends in a fan ranking. No betting, no odds, no payouts. The graphic is from the same engine: 5,000 full-tournament runs, where Argentina leads at just 10.1% - so someone else lifts the trophy in 9 out of 10 runs. Bracket picks stay open until Sunday, so jumping in after the opening match costs you nothing.

Free to Play Status: [x] Free to play

Involvement: I built it solo, after hours - frontend, the simulation engine and the data pipeline. The tournament started today, so honest feedback on the onboarding is exactly what I need.

Dobitka - a free World Cup 2026 game that simulates YOUR lineup 5,000 times after every real match

Game Title: Dobitka - World Cup 2026 lineup simulator

Playable Link: https://dobitka.pl/en/mundial

Platform: Web (browser, mobile-friendly)

Description: Dobitka is a free World Cup 2026 game where you don't just predict results - you manage them. Before each real match you pick your national team's starting XI, formation and playing style (pressing, tempo, defensive line).

After the final whistle, a Monte Carlo engine re-plays your version of the match 5,000 times and compares it with what actually happened on the pitch - so you find out if your lineup would have done better than the coach's. On top of that you make classic tournament picks: group winners, the full 48-team bracket, champion and top scorer. You compete in a global ranking or in private leagues with friends (join by invite code). When your team gets eliminated, you switch to neutral mode and keep playing until the final. No odds, no stakes, no casino mechanics - just football and bragging rights. English and Polish versions available. The tournament started today, so it's the perfect moment to jump in.

Involvement: Solo project - I designed and built the whole thing myself: the web app, the Monte Carlo simulation(with AI help of course;)) engine and the data pipeline. IT/QA guy by day, this is my after-hours build.
