Do you use the driver's assistance?

I'm thinking of buying a Tucson, and today I asked somebody who was getting into their 2026 Tucson Blue how they like it. He said he liked it a lot but he couldn't stand the driver's assistance and that it's almost caused him to get into multiple accidents. He said you can disable it but you have to do it every time you get in the car and sometimes he forgets. I told him I heard something about that and that there was supposed to be an update for it, but he hadn't heard about it.

For people who've gotten the recall/update done, do you feel safe using the car now?

In the 2026 Tucson limited, can you see Google maps and Sirius at the same time?

I assume I'll be able to have Google maps on the left side of the screen and sirius on the right, but I read in a different thread that wasn't possible? Maybe their car was an earlier model?

EDIT: I just saw that on the new RAV4, you can have google maps on center/driver's display! That would be awesome. Seems there's no reason that wouldn't be possible on the Tucson's display. I wonder if that's in the works?

My greatest pleasure in backgammon...

...is my opponent passes me the cube and I end up winning. So satisfying! It's especially satisfying when they pass the cube early in the game like after just one or two rolls. 🕺😃

How long is a typical pitch?

A few questions about pitching a script to an actor you want in your project: How long is a typical pitch? Do these mostly happen on Zoom these days? Are there any things in particular you should avoid saying or doing, in other words, are there any common mistakes writers make during a pitch?

Is their suggestion really correct?

Is their suggestion to move two checkers forward a bit really THAT much better than clearing a checker like I did? I'm having trouble figuring out why what I did was wrong. Btw, I ended up losing by one roll. :(
