Hi everyone;

I started on lamotrigine a few weeks ago with a 12.5 mg dose. I’ve been titrating up
slowly and I’m now at 37.5 mg.

It’s been very very rough so far. The 12.5 mg dose I though maybe maybe I felt a little improvement. But with each dose increase I’m am getting markedly worse.

Anyone find that toughing it out is worth it? It’s a bordering on being unable to function. If it helped, what dose was it and how long did it take for your brainTo settle down?

I’m attending a wedding with this dress code “Semi-formal attire please. cocktail dresses or jumpsuits for women and suits or dress pants and button-up shirts for men”

Does that mean I look for a less slightly less formal cocktail dress? I’m a mid 50s frumpy lady and I don’t look good dressed up. Any suggestions on what would be appropriate?
