What are these postcards with identical images?

Edit: It's a defibrillator ad. Cute 🐻⚡️❤️

Different friends, different parts of Tokyo, different location text, identical images of Pawmot holding a heart. All three of them were received May 19th.

Is this some kind of promotion, like the Poké Lids stops?

Issue giving Pokémon a Japanese nickname

I have tried different text strings to ask my Japanese friends for a Palkia with Spacial Rend, but none of them can be set as my Pokémon's nickname.

I did manage to get one friend's attention with the nickname "Campfireアプリ" (Campfire app) but the lack of a built-in communication system isn't helping.

I don't know if this is a Pokémon GO question, a Niantic policy question or a linguistics question, but is there a reliable Japanese text string I can nickname my buddy to signal that I wish to trade for Palkia with Spacial Rend?

Adventure Sync daisy-chaining for evolve quests still works.

About a year ago I reported a beneficial glitch that allows you to more easily evolve Pokémon with a walking requirement without needing to actually have them as your active buddy.

It's very inconsistent and may rely on the accuracy of Adventure Sync but I was able replicate the glitch again today.

Notice in the video that I have selected a specific Dynamax Woobat, and that the progress made towards evolving it is 0/1km. When I switch my buddy from Slowbro to the same Woobat, the walking that I have done today fulfills the requirement and I am now able to evolve it.

I never did a deep dive into it because I thought it would be patched by now, and I've also moved to a more sedentary job. A more well-written summary I've shared of this glitch can be found at this link.

Basically, it only works for walking requirements, you must meet any additional "adventure" requirements (like Eevee needs you to have also earned two buddy candies with your buddy the day you attempt this) and it sometimes may just not work.

Hopefully this is useful to somebody.

Edit: See u/Pheehelm's reply for a list of Pokémon with a walking requirement.
