Douglas County has now declared stage 1 fire restrictions as of today.
This means no open burning, no model rockets, and NO personal fireworks.
Respect the community and what’s going on elsewhere in the state over a few loud noises and sparks. Several new fires started up over the weekend and already the US is over 160% of normal total acres burned year to date.

As part of our efforts to rejuvenate this sub and move on from a troubled past, the mod team is working to make this sub about Highlands Ranch and the people who call this home. More outreach and engagement will be put out in the coming weeks alongside updates to the rules and other defining features of the sub. Kids under 2 are free but get a meal ticket if they’re going to want to eat.
