[QC] Custom Dior sneaker with White Outsole Swap from Koala

Wanted to share a quick QC and shoutout to Koala for going above and beyond on this pair.
I’ve been looking for this specific Dior colorway with a white outsole instead of the factory black outsole (the retail release only comes with the black sole). I reached out to multiple sellers to see if anyone could fulfill a custom order to swap the soles, and every single one turned it down.
Koala was the only seller who agreed to do it. Because he runs the factory producing these, he was able to accommodate the custom outsole request directly on the production line.
The QC photos just came in and the execution looks spot-on to me. Huge props to Koala for the top-tier customer service and willingness to take on custom requests when everyone else passed.
Let me know what you guys think of the QC photos

A Simple Test Exposes Fake Factory Owners

Many sellers (Chipotle, Ice Cream, Koala) claim to own their own factories and manufacture their own shoes, but a simple test proves otherwise. I reached out with a very straightforward request for a pair of Diors: swapping a black outsole for a white one. Not a single seller could accommodate this.

If you actually own the factory and control the assembly line, a basic component swap before the shoe is glued and stitched is incredibly easy. The fact that they can't do this makes it glaringly obvious that they have zero control over the manufacturing process. They are simply middlemen sourcing from the same mass-produced, third-party batches as everyone else. Don't fall for the 'independent factory' marketing.

Rusty and low-quality material from AJJJXZ CH Safety Pin

Got mine from proxy seller Chestnut a few months ago. Today I noticed some rusty spots on the safety pin and decided to use my magnet to test whether it is 100% 925 silver.
Well the test failed, I thought that AJJJXZ CH is the best in the market?

After spending some quality time with all three versions of the GATs, I wanted to drop a detailed comparison for anyone on the fence about which batch to pick up.
Overview
First off, the bar is high here. Both the Goat and MVT batches are incredibly impressive when put side-by-side with Retail. If you’re walking down the street, no one is calling these out. However, when you get into the nitty-gritty details, one definitely stands out.
Leather & Color
Retail: Has that classic, buttery calfskin feel and a specific "off-white" tone that is hard to nail.
Goat: The leather quality is solid and the color is very close, though it feels a bit more structured/stiff out of the box.
MVT: The leather texture is spot-on. The color accuracy across the panels is excellent, making it almost indistinguishable from the retail pair in natural lighting.
Suede & Stitching
This is where the differences start to show:
Suede: MVT takes the win here. The suede is noticeably "hairier" and more premium-feeling compared to Goat. It has that nice movement you expect from high-end materials.
Stitching: While Goat is clean, MVT has tighter, more consistent stitching, especially around the heel and the suede overlays. It feels like there was just a bit more attention to detail in the construction.
Comfort (The Big Winner)
The most surprising part of this comparison is the comfort level. While the retail pair is known for being a comfortable daily driver, MVT is actually more comfortable than retail. The insole and interior lining feel slightly more forgiving, making them easier to wear for long periods right out of the box without that standard "break-in" period.
Final Verdict
Goat: A very strong contender and definitely a "good" batch.
MVT: The superior choice. With the nicer suede, better stitching, and superior comfort (even beating out the retail pair), it’s easily the winner of this three-way comparison.
If you’re looking for the closest 1:1 experience with an upgrade in daily wearability, MVT is the way to go.
