Still struggling with loops

Still struggling with loops

I feel like I’ve made some improvements since the last time I’ve posted here but I still find myself struggling with loops, particularly lowercase e. Half the time I feel like I barely left any room and it feels claustrophobic and scrunched. Is this a byproduct of me writing on the small side and I just need to open up my spacing?

How legible is my cursive?

Still having trouble with connecting my TH and R’s. Can’t seem to get used to writing with my arm so I’ve gone back to using my wrist and fingers.

Looking for feedback on improving cursive

I’ve been working on my cursive handwriting for the last two months but I feel like I’ve hit a wall in terms of improvement and maybe a bit of regression in terms of speed and accuracy. I get the feeling that I’m probably gripping the pen a bit too hard and there’s some shake in writing. I’m primarily writing with my fingers/wrist. Do I just wholesale pivot and starting learning to write with my arm? Any tips on improving my writing speed? Grip modification?

Final result in the comments.

Got my first Paper Republic product (Le Trifold) and cannot be happier.

Current rolling with a Leuchtturm B6+ softcover as my commonplace journal, a Midori dot grid A5 notebook as my bullet journal, and a Midori A5 dot grid journal for my daily.

Entry from yesterday: “What if it were easy?”

Started to add journaling prompts as an occasional break from my record keeping. I’ve had pretty bad brain fog for the last few months were sometimes I can’t even remember what I did the past weekend but I started to get tired of my daily entries just being a recap of what I did and how I felt in the moment. Been going through massive waves of anxiety and putting these kinds of inner thoughts on paper has really rejuvenated my motivation in writing.

Was sent here from r/Journaling

I've been keeping a mood tracker in my journal for the past 6 months now to help track trends such as anxiety, bipolar induced mood swings, efficacy of medication, etc. but I do not find it granular enough. Currently it's pretty simple: I just mark down how, on average, my day has felt. But what I really need is a better system to track my mood so I can see how it fluctuates throughout the day. My plan is to, by the end of the year, be able to collate and graph the data to better understand trends.

Does anyone have any suggestions on templates? For example, I've tried the Apple Journal app and I actually like it very much because you can assign a mood to every entry not just on a day-by-day basis and it can show updates in trends. Obviously I'd rather continue physically journaling rather than typing and I know there's not going to be a way to do it on paper that's not labor intensive.

Mods blatantly taken from this post. The 5.11 MOLLE insert was discontinued so I found a knockoff one from Aliexpress. The ThermalLift Fidlock sternum strap was also discontinued so I found one by Boundary Supply but the stow buckle didn't come with a strap so I DIY'd it with some paracord and tactical tape.

Only difference is that I replaced the HeroClip with a medium sized S-biner since it's easier to manipulate and velcro strap keepers.
