My Nana used to say she was a Gyps**
We are English/Australian (my dad is eng/rom)
As a kid I of course thought she said that to be funny, as I hadn't been told anything apart from being english. Nana never delved into her history.
I'm now quite aware Nana was Romani.
I don't know what I want to find out, she was born in 1912. Married an English bloke
Her olive skin has been passed on (not by me, but my blessed cousins)
I suppose I'm wondering what the history of Romani people are and how they got to the UK and further and any of their customs/traditions I can look into, to try and continue in some way

Nana never passed any Romani culture on. It seemingly stopped with her apart from her saying she was a gyp

Hi, I've come back into pokemon after numerous years - I've completed Violet and I have Shield (yet to do the DLC)
What games would you recommend? Arceus or Z-A first? I enjoy completing a good storyline first and then trying to complete the Pokédex.
Been tossing up between the both of them, I will eventually do both, but wondering what you all would recommend doing first!

Hi, my parents are flying into the UK as we speak - mum is a massive tennis fan!
Are there any reputable sites or anyone busy and can't make it?
Long shot I know, just thought I'd try and make mums dream come true
