Ja sorry hoor maar hoe hij zich hier bij de 1-1 laat wegduwen als een pupil dat kan toch echt niet.

Dit is niet eens niveau eredivisie man.

So I applied for a function within the government. I work at the government and this function ticks exactly every box I am looking for and I have experienced. From all 3 requirements that they state that are considered a pre, I have them all.

So I go for the meeting and I do very good. They tell me I will be contacted at the end of the day. Around 15:40 I get the call. They really liked me and they all 3 decided that I was by far the best candidate. I would be placed under a different team leader she said, but she did not expect this to be any problem.

Of course I am very happy with this job offering. 17:40 I get a call from her again. Bad news. They had a “second meeting” to compare “cv’s” and they concluded that the other candidate was as after all the best option. She had a slightly better cv and therefor we are going for her, even though the meeting we had was far better.

I am absolutely stunned by this. Why would they have a second meeting, after she called me I had the job? Why would they change opinion, even after they all 3 found I was the far better option?

I don’t believe that they had a “second meeting” comparing our cv’s after our convo at 15:40. Why would they do that? And why would you let me come if her cv was so much better that even when I have a better chat with them they are not going to give me the job?

All I can think about now is that after the convo at 15:40 she called the other team leader and this team leader requested the other party to be hired, and my best guess is is because she is of a minority(female), I am a white male.

I mean, for real even if the argument about the cv is real, wouldn’t you just say af fuck it? Let him have it. Because my cv is pretty great for this kind of function.

I am just very very surprised and frustrated about this all. Why the f would you have a second meeting after everyone concluded I was by far the better option ?

Wat is het plan? Wekker om 2:45, voetbal kijken tot 5 uur (half 6?) en dan nog een paar uur slapen?

Of gewoon slapen, telefoons verstoppen en dan als je wakker wordt de wedstrijd terugkijken?

Ik neig naar het laatste, maar vind het eigenlijk ook wel minder spannend als ik het niet live kijk…

We stonden 2-1 voor. Minuut 91. Ik wilde een bier inchecken, en deed dat met scherm op achtergrond (1-2). Focus op scherm.

Ik postte hem. Terwijl ik dat deed, dacht ik nog, is dit niet het onheil op mezelf af roepen
