Took the Mathnasium assessment
I made a post last night asking about it and today was my assessment day! When I saw the first page it was way different than what I thought it would look like. It had pretty straightforward and simple math. Though, considering it was 5th grade - algebra 1 it makes sense. A lot of worry was dispelled after I starting working through it. The questions I missed for sure were the system of equations problems where the expressions weren't handed to me and I had to recognize it from the setup. Otherwise, a pretty chill test. I was taking my time just so I didn't make other silly mistakes and since my test was later in the day and close to closing, the 2.5 hours I took went until the place closed.
The music at mine was awesome, acoustic pop punk covers. The Center Director was so nice I like the energy they emanated, very friendly and caring. We spoke about my plan for college and about how higher levels of tutoring worked at my location. I really hope I get to work there it seems very fun and fulfilling for me.
