The charging contacts on my base unit occasionally get pushed in and stick pushed in. Then the unit has trouble docking because it can't make contact. I need to go over and give the contact that's stuck a slight lift and it pops back out.

Anyone else experience that and have a quick fix or is this a call to support?

The unit is less than a year old and I'm a part of the select program so not a big deal to call support but I know they will just send me a new unit which means recreating maps and routines, etc. So I'm looking to see if it's something simple I can do.

So I received the 705 Max as a replacement for my j7+ from the select program.

It’s buggy as hell.

I used the robot for a few months got the bag full message, replaced the bag and started getting the bag full message constantly even though I disassembled and cleaned everything. Also the ‘empty bin’ button is greyed out.

Select support swapped the unit and it worked fine for a few months and started again. I opened a case with support again and while troubleshooting it I somehow got it to stop the error. Not sure what I did but it stopped.

Whelp it started again the other day. Cleaned everything like I normally do every month but still got the error.

I reviewed my emails with support as they gave me something to try if it started again.

What they said was

1. Seat the vac on the base
2. Remove the good bag
3. Go into the app and tap the ‘empty bin’ button which is in the robot details section (it wasn’t greyed out with the bag removed)
4. It will state it can’t due to a missing bag
5. Put the bag back in and do it again
6. It should empty and not go red

I tried it and looks like it worked.

Will keep you all posted if anything changes.
