Propagating

Look at it grow ugly hahaha

I want to chopp the top of these 2 and repot with a mosspole. Since they have some aerial roots, can they go directly in soil? If not, do I just put them in water? Its my first time having to prop instead of throwing (a dead plant) away.

Also, does painted lady normally grows like this or is it missing light? By 'this' I mean the space between the leaves haha the top just fell to the side when I was moving to take the picture

Tia everyone!

How to change the mount

So... I hate this plastic mounts and basically all my other orchids are mounted on wood.

Is there a good way to transfer it without much harm? Did it once with a schoenorchis and it is only now growing, after 2 or 3 months... not the best experience (mainly for my heart hahaha)

Ps. I'll not change anything yet, since it seems to be flowering

Is this a flower stalk?

Also, I read that for this orchid is better to cut it since the flowers are not the focus. Where do I cut lol

As expected...

So, 2 months ago I bought this CPs and decided to mix them. As expected the capensis grew a lot, and only now that Im learning more, I have some doubts.

First, this capensis was mixed with other ones that were red. The red one flower purple and this green flower white. Is there a diference? Or mine is green because of low light?

Second, is it possible to know what this little ones are? The other drosera that I have is aliciae I believe, and since the capensis is outgrowing everyone, I want to have at least a backup of the aliciae in another pot, and if this sprouts are aliciae, it would be much easier to remove them then the bigger ones.

Thanks in advance!

Just bought it

Its my first anthurium. Should I change this substrate? If yes, any tip on how to minimize the stress?

Also, I see 4 plants in this pot (at least I think so). Do I separate them?

Thanks in advance!
