I’m looking for a fic where Montreal’s plane was the one that went crashing, and I think most of the players died? Shane, Hayden and JJ survived, and Shane was helping other passengers to leave the wreck before him. There was a scene where they passed the dead body of a teammate and had to keep going.

By other players/fans/people, and is somewhat oblivious to it. Shane more so than Ilya, because it’s hilarious whenever Shane is clueless and Ilya is just exasperated at how Shane doesn’t get it.

Like, Shane is basically Asian Crosby, so I’m looking for fics where people stan him, give him a wide berth or just basically act like fans meeting their idol. Could be ridiculous, funny, crack-ish, etc. Stories where players and fans just put some respect on the generational player(s) that they are.

I read a fic a while back about the Centaurs rookies having a shrine for Shane (heh, that rhymes), and if anyone can find it, please link here!

I’m looking for a social media fic where Shane and Ilya are playing for the Centaurs and are winning bigly, and the Metros finally realize they’re not touching that Cup again in a decade.

There was a scene where the Metros coach try to approach Shane, probably to offer a deal? I think there was even a news article where they talked about the Metros management trying to get Shane back, like subtly hinting that they have the money to entice him back.

And the social media hockey posts telling the Metros to stay away from Shane, that no amount of money from his former team is gonna tempt him away from the fact that he now plays with his husband.

Oh, if anyone also has a fic with the same premise, where the Metros try to get Shane back, please recommend it! Thanks!

Basically Shane says he will let Ilya do it raw for the first time if he won against New York. And because of the prize Shane is dangling Ilya seriously responds (like a crazy person lol) that he will kill Scott.

Basically that was the conversation that stood out to me because I burst out laughing when I first read it and now I can’t find it.

Shane is always portrayed as a good boy, the responsible first daughter, the poster child of the NHL.

But then I read a fic where it was revealed that he was a hilarious teenage crash out (can’t remember which fic, if anyone remembers please tag), and I want to know if people can recommend me fics where Ilya realizes his quiet and calm husband was not as boring as he thought.

Any fic that leaves the world flabbergasted that golden boy Shane Hollander was not as demure as people thought.

The fic I read was someone posting videos of Shane being a stupid teenager doing stupid things, having an emo phase, and Shane commenting that people always seem to appear out of nowhere to egg him on about making stupid stunts.

Looking for a Troy critical fic where he tries to be friendly with Shane, only for Shane to refuse firmly and remind him of the times Troy had not only been homophobic but racist, to him and to Yuna as well.

There was a scene where Shane emphasized that he would respect Troy as a teammate, but he didn’t want Troy near Yuna at all, that he didn’t want him to be on the same room as his mother.

There are several fics with the same premise, but I’m looking for the one where Shane lays down the rules on Troy about staying clear of his mother.

Also, feel free to recommend any fics like this! I love Troy, but I do like Shane crashing out as well lol.

It was a group chat with many players from different teams, and they were dreading facing Shane and complaining about how unfair it is that the husbands are on the same team.

At one point they call Shane a sleep paralysis demon(?) and a Russian goalie goes, “I hate playing Hollander. Where is puck. Oh. In the net.”
