Soundproofing restrooms at work
(Picture for attention)
I work at a place that has two small 9’ x 13’ restrooms located upstairs next to a stairwell and a study/office area. It’s kind of crammed up there and any sound that happens inside these rooms you go to relieve yourself is easily heard. Whether at the bottom of the stairs, next to the door in the hall, or in the study area.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use besides foam to dampen sound and provide more privacy? Foam panels seem like they would end up harboring bacteria overtime.
(This will be cross posted so I can accumulate multiple inputs from users.)
Thank you!!
