I know the photo doesn’t capture the slight red colour the dress got due to washing with another red frock. But in real life it definitely looks very discoloured and ugly. I would love to fix this issue by dyeing the whole dress. I want suggestions of what dye and what colour I can make it.

The dress is made of pure cotton. I am open to colour suggestions as this is going to be my first ever experiment with dyeing at home.

At my 2nd try and with a borrowed scoby I achieved booch. It tastes perfect. I have proceeded and bottled them with ginger extract (2 X250ml) and cranberry jam (3x 250ml) for 2F.

PS: I don’t have a specific measure of anything. I just make 1ltr Assam tea and 1.5lt filtered water with about 1.5 cups of white sugar. And left it for 7 days. Nothing else is measured I go a lot by taste smell and eye measures.
