Asilomar Wedding Venue - food?

My fiance and I considering Asilomar as our wedding venue and we really love it. We love the rustic feel and overall what we saw but the big con is that we won’t get to try the food before we commit. We live across the country and won’t be able to come to a tasting. My fiancé’s parents will probably go as our proxy.

I’m wondering if anyone can share their honest opinion about their wedding catering, if they’ve tried it before! Is sort of run of the mill wedding catering? Or is super delicious? Or down right terrible? Any insight would be great! :)

What’s possible for this wedding dress?

I love this vintage lace dress as is with some minor alterations (fixing the gap in the legs, shortening the train, hemming, general alterations) but I’m wondering if it’s possible to make this dress off the shoulder with optional sleeves. Or if it would look nice to take the sleeves off completely and it being a sort of tank top look- that seems to be the simplest option. This is just from my initial try on and the buttons will be buttoned all the way up. Curious what’s possible with the nude illusion mesh! Thanks in advance!

Bacchus dancing thoughts?

Hey yall! My fiance and I are really considering Bacchus for our wedding but have some questions about how it was on the dance floor! Has anyone been or had a wedding there and have thoughts on how the dancing was? It seems a bit small and we definitely want to have a good dance party. Our guest count is gonna be between 80-100 people. Everything else about the venue we love but wanted to hear a bit more about people’s experience there!
