I’ve been a massive fan of edm and house music my whole life and recently, I went to the subtronics concert with X Games. I was however, completely unimpressed by the skill of this so called “DJ”. Most of the music he was playing was genuinely unlistenable. Production was laughable, his execution in mixing was cringe worthy, and it appeared he wasn’t even mixing live. Almost everything he put on was a top 100 radio hit, with choppy brutal cuts, and then a washed out meme before an over saturated non exciting drop. I couldn’t get into it and left quickly, but I noticed massive crowds loving this guy going crazy for him. I figured i’d hit the source directly to ask, What’s the appeal?

I’ve never quite got the hang of the balisong, i’ve had a few dull ones but they all were metal and felt clunky and not smooth to flip around. is there any options on amazon in the $20-$40 range that will feel buttery and be an okay starting point to learn some tricks on? Thanks!
