Noob’s questions (motorcycle decals)

I got a set of aftermarket polypropylene plastics for T7 and would like to make it look like a Rally version. Got myself a Siser Juliette and ordered a few rolls of Oracal 651 in different colors, a transfer tape, etc.

I recon there are multiple ways to make a black & white decal seen on the photo. Would it be better to cut a solid parallelogram backing out of a white vinyl and layer the black parallelograms and two black strips on top of the white backing. Or cut a white “skeleton” with the holes for the black elements to end up with a single layer decal.

Questions:

Which way is better?
Will such decal withstand weather as is, or should I cover it with some sort of a clear film to prevent smaller overlayed details from peeling back?
Should I apply it dry or wet to a polypropylene fairing?
Do I need anything else (material- or tool- wise)?

2025+ top rack for Givi Monokey case without a need for adapter plate?

Hello! I’m going to pick up a 2026 standard US model this week. Already have a Givi Monokey case that I’d like to use for occasional commute to the office.

Are there any too luggage racks that work with Monokey without an additional adapter plate, can be used with a pillion and isn’t too bulky?

I found a rack made by Givi, but it looks a bit bulky, expensive and comes without the plate (so it’s even more expensive because of that).

I see a bunch of cheaper options on Amazon, but majority of those are for up to 2024 models. Are there significant difference in how luggage rack attaches between 2025+ and the previous generation?
