[SPOILERS] Why I believe the death of Soap was better than the original.

[SPOILERS] Why I believe the death of Soap was better than the original.

The MWIII campaign was short but it had its moments, but the big deal here is obviously soaps death coming out of nowhere and seemed as “bad writing”.

During the mission of his death we’re basically defusing bombs in an underground subway tunnel, everybody is high on adrenaline besides makarov who obviously knows what he’s doing showing up out of nowhere and attacking us.

As we’re defusing Makarov appears out of nowhere almost like a jumpscare and instantly shoots soap and puts price on the floor, it was fast and they didn’t have time to react as they were tryin to defuse a bomb. Soap obviously didn’t die right away, adrenaline probably kicked in and he runs and stabs him where then Makarov also riddled with adrenaline from being stabbed shoot him in the head, all of this in the matter of seconds.

The reason I prefer this death over the original is because in a real battlefield things won’t be as dramatic as getting blown out of a building and getting impaled, rather a realistic scenario if we’re trying to stop a terror attack and shit went down. In real life Soap’s death might have went the same, in just a few seconds he was gone just like real soldiers fighting in wars.

Salamangreat…

So I’ve been playing salads since the structure deck came out in 2019 and I love everything about this archetype, I played more competitively as a rogue deck last year but it obviously loses to a lot of better decks.

Any other salad players who have found ways to make the deck a bit better or make a hybrid with another archetype maybe maliss or @ignister since snake-eyes is banned.

Obviously I’m still playing the deck regardless but just wanted to see what you guys have come up with :)

So now that this album has been out for almost 4 years and the new album currently on the way what are you thoughts and opinions on this album?

This albums’ existence is an anomaly to me, how in the name of god did Tomas do this in less than 2 days before surgery. Cause he’s the fucking GOAT!

Of Interstellar Death easily my favorite, that fucking riff reached and surpassed Slaughter of the Soul levels of PEAK!

And one of my highlights is easily on the last song Black Hole Emission, the solo close to the end gave me goosebumps, it felt like a send off for Tomas, like everything came full circle and ended on that final song.

Absolutely beautiful… 10/10 without a question
