was i being overly sensitive?

am i being overly sensitive or overthinking it? ok so there was a reddit poll asking if you want to live in a dorm when you get to college and i commented:

"yeah, and ideally 4 roommates. sometimes 5+ is a bit too much but i think 4 is a good number for me."

here's a back and forth of a random person who replied to me:

them: idk of any schools that wud put 5+ ppl together. Most have triples or doubles. Max is 4.

me: huh, i think ive heard of a few places, though they might be mostly places outside of campus. a few colleges def offer the 4 suite though. (*this was a typo. i meant to say 5 suite).

them: The 4-suite does exist, but you don't necessarily get to choose your dorm. You can have a preference, but they just kinda place you where there's space.

me: *5 suite sorry. typo. 5-8ppl exist in colleges, such as bard, kalamazoo (idk how to type it), and others. as for choosing, since the poll is asking what kind of choice we’d make i’m assuming i have full agency over the type of dorm

them: "Yea, so like 2 random places Lmao. Like I said most have doubles or triples and occasionally quads. I was more giving you general advice/setting your expectations on college dorm life and admin assignment."

and theyve just been coming off as... passive aggressive? annoying? idk but it just felt... belittling, even. i honestly had the thought, "what a prick". idk if they actually said anything mean but i had the urge to say "f off" (but didnt ofc.) i just said,

"and others. i can name more. (insert all the unis i listed). and that wasnt really advice. you just told me facts that didnt apply to me. i know my expectations, what colleges i want to go to, and what types of dorms they have."

and left it. but god, "like two random places lmao./ i was giving you advice" no you werent? what advice? just plainly wrong, unwarranted and unsolicitated facts that dont apply to me and assume they know all about my situation? and wdym two random places? i said "and others". there are multiple. dude really made me spell it out. it seemed pedantic, defensive, and condescending.. at least i think. i dont really know. is this considered passive aggressive? i have trouble finding social cues and sometimes feel like i overthink things.

i mayyyy have crashed out a bit too much.

context: screenshots of someone repeatedly asking "are you a boy or a girl" to a genderfluid person, and people were... blaming the genderfluid person?

"are you a boy or a girl" "idc you can refer to me as whatever" "but i wanna knowww, what are you really?" it's also important to note... they are NOT partners, don't even seem to be friends. in the screenshot it appears someone just asked her "boy or girl" unsolicited and she was like, "who me?"

maybe, people just don't have a preference bucko. it's giving "do you like pancakes or waffles", "no preference idc" and they push her. maybe, she. just. doesnt. have. a. preference. and it's the other person's fault for pushing, not her for giving a legitimate answer. right...?

also, this person came off as transphobic to me (transphobic as an umbrella term for people who dont accept trans, nb, genderfluid, agender, or any type of people with a non-standard gender)

also, i hope it was okay to use 'she/her' pronouns for that person bc they said they were genderfluid and any pronouns was fine. the flowery icons in the screenshot made me align more with she/her at the moment.

rant done. thank you, thank you.

My favorite underrated fragrance brand: PULJIM

First time posting here, little nervous.

What can I say? All of their scents are just phenomenal for me.

PULJIM isn’t predominantly a perfume or fragrance brand, they specialize in body care which means their famous hand cream, body creams, washes, scrubs, etc. However when they released this body mist I was ecstatic.

Their signature scents are different types of tea and they are all very authentic! It’s a chinese brand and absolutely DELIVERS with their jasmine tea scents, along with others like gardenia, peony, etc. I recommend the hand cream first and foremost but I just wanted to appreciate the body mist and their fragrances in general.

The spray bottle has broken a bit so it isn’t the highest quality packaging but the product itself is amazing. Not just the smell, but the formulas. Their hand creams are incredibly soothing and calming, as well as hydrating during the cold winters.

PULJIM is available on YesStyle, that’s where I usually buy it, but if anyone knows any other places I can get it please recommend! YesStyle isn’t the best at restocking this brand because it isn’t as well known. I live in the US btw.

old webtoon but really good, totally recommend. anyone have recs for a comic with similar premise? also, does anyone know when it’ll return?

i recommend :D mild spoiler but this isnt super big plot thing.

context: the black hair guy is actually someone else but he looks so similar to the guy the woman thinks she is. he has no idea who she is but she believes he’s the gangster guy childhood friend she had a crush on, and they cant convince her otherwise, and she’s a crazy lady with them kidnapped.

there are so few people reading it but it has good plot, fitting art, and amazing comedy. the small amount of likes and comments is so sad to me, this series deserves a lot more love and attention!

plot summary: actor gets drunk and passes out. gangster guy gets beaten up and passes out. they look a lot alike, and the actor’s manager finds the gangster and takes him home while the gang members find the actor and take him home. the gangster got amnesia so he actually believes he’s the actor, while the actor mc has to try not to die and act like a gangster 😅
