Heyyy guys, I need some advice. I’m writing a story with a Catholic character and I’m not Catholic myself, so I want to make sure I’m portraying her religion respectfully and realistically. I'd love to here about what are some things I should keep in mind when writing her. I’m not trying to debate anything, I just want to learn and avoid getting things wrong!
I'm new to manifesting and loc. I might come on here a lot with questions but for now I'm wondering if I throw away the papers after my manifestations came true will that affect my outcome anyway?

I'm not too experienced as a writer but I've always had a love for writing and when I got an idea I decided to start. I'm not going to go in depth into my story plot because this is just a small question but if you need to know a more in depth of the plot or characters I will reply in the comments idk.
Basically I have a character who’s closeted and raised in a strict religious household. She has a close best friend and they both slowly develop feelings. But she also has a boyfriend who she genuinely likes as a person, but it feels more like comfort/ what she's supposed to do rather than real love. Would it be better writing wise to keep my closeted character to have a boyfriend in the story during all of this, or is that kind of trope overused and I should avoid it? 😭😭
