I know that this person didn’t make this post with ill intent, but even tiktoks like these provoke people to hate in the comments, like he needs a reason satisfactory to you to gain weight 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

It’s been 9 years since the show ended, and 17 years since the show first aired. This fandom hates on Nina and Claire for aging and getting plastic surgery (even tho that’s hollywood expects of women) hated on Kat for gaining weight while PREGNANT, hated on Danielle for being a normal weight during Legacies, etc it’s just so nasty. It’s even weirder when people are like “he’s depressed and he lost his father so that’s why he gained weight” which may be true, but it feels weird that people are projecting onto him (it’s like saying “that’s the only valid reason why he could’ve gained weight, so stop hating on him”) like people can just gain or lose weight due to age. It’s like how people treated Nina during S5 of TV when she gained weight when she just grew up.

Thankfully the reddit TVD fans are mostly normal, but the TikTok fans are very weird, and not even mentioning how the looksmaxxers are now joining in to shit on him with 100k+ likes and it’s getting out of hand!

I made this post last year, so I thought I should continue the tradition and do it again this year. Happy birthday TVD!!!

I haven’t posted on here in a while but I wanted to make a post to discuss this because of a post I saw asking people if they ship Bonkai or Bonenzo. A lot of people in the comments were saying “Why would you ship Bonnie with Kai? He’s so toxic to her?” And If you don’t want to ship Bonkai, that is completely fair. However, when some people phrase it like that while shipping Delena, Klaroline, Kolvina, Elijah x Elena, or honestly any popular ship in this fandom besides like a few it’s a bit hypocritical. Especially when I’ve seen people ship Kai and Elena or Kai and Katherine which is like??

Back to my original point, I think people forget how Enzo treated Bonnie S5 (as seen with my gif) the way he threatened to kill Bonnie, kidnapped Jeremy (who was Bonnie’s boyfriend) and harmed Liv (who was Bonnie’s friend) and people still treat this ship like it’s the healthiest ship ever, when it’s not. The reason why a lot of Bonnie fans don’t like this ship because it contradicts a lot of Julie Plec’s “rules” she had for Bonnie. Like how because of how she’s so morally good (I disagree with this, I think Bonnie is morally grey) that she wouldn’t go for Kai, Damon, Kol, or any of the other popular characters she was shipped with heavily at the time. She only wanted to put her with characters like her adopted brother, Matt, and Enzo, three unpopular characters, and not even mentioning how she was Enzo’s third choice after Caroline and Lily didn’t him. Enzo is also pretty toxic to her which also contradicts what she said, and made it clear that Bonenzo was rushed and a clear leftover for Bonnie because Julie didn’t care enough to put effort in Bonnie’s romances.

The reason why a lot of Bonnie fans like Bonkai because they had a lot of great romantic chemistry, like better than any of Bonnie’s actual romances, and yes that’s including Enzo. I also think that Bonnie and Kai being together would be a lot of great story potential, compared to Bonenzo. The gemini coven and the Bennett witches, and/or a Bonnie turning evil arc while being with Kai similar to her expression arc would’ve been great. I don’t think they have to be endgame, and I definitely agree that they are toxic, but the hypocrisy in this fandom from the writers and (some) of the audience is annoying asf. If Bonnie can be friends with a person like Damon, if she can be with a person like Enzo, why can’t she be with a person like Kai?

I’ve barely seen anyone talking about this (which isn’t surprising) but it’s been so frustrating how Cleo was sidelined this season. She’s supposed to be apart of the pogues yet has been sidelined so heavily it’s to the point where I’d argue Sofia, Groff, and Barry have more screentime than she does. For someone who literally SAVED sarah and the rest of the pogues multiple times, this season shows that the writers and by extension the audience still season her as outsider. I remember hearing from interviews that this season was supposed to be focused on Kiara and Cleo, but Cleo’s only storyline this season was getting deported.

Cleo/Carlacia as a character has been continuously shafted due to circumstances out of her control. She was originally screen tested as JJ’s love interest but because of the Jiara fans, they had to change that storyline. I love PopeCleo and they are my favorite couple in the show, but if JJ and Cleo were together as originally intended, Rudy would still be on the show. Pope and Cleo as a couple barely gets any screentime which is very disappointing compared to Rafe and Sofia, even though Pope and Cleo have a much more interest dynamic than the Rofia, which is just a less interesting wattpad self-insert story. Then this final season which is supposed to give her backstory has been cut short due to the backlash of Rudy leaving the show and making the whole season of Kiara avenging JJ and the “original pogues.” I’m sorry but this treatment is honestly disgusting considering how the audience also treats Cleo, and the writers affirmed that this season by basically making her a plot device for the pogues whenever they need to be saved yet not still apart of the core group. It still baffles me that they basically didn’t care the first and second time Cleo got sent back and were celebrating Sarah’s bday joyfully as if nothing happened and not caring when she got arrested (aside from Pope) when we know if it was the other way around, Cleo would do all she could to save them.

I know this is kinda a niche topic within the dangan fandom but I thought I would make this post since it’s confirmed that Berleezy is going to start playing V3 this August!!
But I wanted to make this post because I’ve been seeing some weird resentment that *some* udg fans have towards Berleezy for his playthrough of the game. I’ve even seen some people try to make up that he made fun of Dangan for being “anime games” and that he does it for clout which is literally not true…..considering he’s an anime fan. He also started playing the series back in 2018, before it got popular in the mainstream in 2020 (out of recommendation by his fans) and it was one his least viewed series until 2020 hit and a bunch of memes from his playthrough became popular. When he asked in a fanpoll 5 years ago if he should play V3 or UDG a lot of people were begging him to skip UDG because it was trash and it was a spinoff game. That’s how divisive it was before he started playing the game and still is today. Jazzyguns (who is another popular youtuber) told him to play UDG because she liked it and told him to go in order and that’s why he played it. He also only played UDG out of love for his fans when he wanted to stop playing after DR2 and went into UDG with an open mind…so I’m really tired of the narrative that he intentionally ruined the games reputation, when it had a mixed reception to begin with compared to the other games.
