I'm the original owner of this made to order 2013 SVT Raptor. Extremely customized by dealer and me it was the first velociraptor ever (SVT and Whipple engineers in Dearborn worked on a matching color Whipple charger to get the program right). Extra Battery on rear for on the go power wheel changing tools, charging other vehicles, portable air compressor, air powered wrench, 2 winches (front and rear) custom bumpers, etc. Enjoyed the heck of MA trails, etc. Eventually the old custom bumpers rotted (from the get go not properly built ) and while it sat out as life got complicated it only got worse. Now is about to come out of the shop reborn. The old custom bumpers trashed (will never buy from those guys in Arizona again) replaced by the handy work from scratch by Wayne the magical welder. Steel made 100% heavily powder coated. New wheels and rubbers designed for mud and beach (sand) living but still roadable. I loved the Whipple SC in this raptor and a Cobra and Shelby but as I mature I now prefer the natural throaty naturally aspirated sound over SC whine. For instant acceleration I prefer a shaker on my Florida muscle car. So I removed the Whipple supercharger (500+ horses is enough anyway, the 620+ ponies used to be a thrill I no longer need. Plus it has plenty of power on its own. Besides other changes it is still basically the same truck ready to live a different life. New front winch permanently attached to front. Second winch on a hitch mount for those times when a rear helping hand could save a day. Moving it to the RI Misquamicut area as soon as it comes out of the shop in PA. Will be looking for playmates or shows soon in RI and CT areas. Even MA or FL occasionally. I've loved driving fast cars and trucks. And messing with all sorts of vehicles. I've been missing this Raptor in my life for way too long. Now in a more sedate life. Will prob get a bed tent for it.
