On behalf of Canada, I am sorry for losing the soccer game last night
Had the Canadians won last night, it would have blocked Morocco from winning the World Cup. This our fault, and I'm very sorry.
At least the Moroccans celebration weren't as disruptive on Tuesday morning. As they proceed to win the World Cup, there are now just down to three more evenings of this.
The Canadian fans (all two of us) would not have disrupted traffic or thrown fireworks at the Dutch equivalent of the RCMP.
Our sports riots are far more peaceful (picture above, the Vancouver Canucks after losing the 2011 Stanley Cup).
Sorry for that. Please let into the EU.
