Hi everyone,
I have a Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 and I'm facing a display issue again.
My laptop has suddenly started showing horizontal lines across the screen. There is no physical damage to the laptop, and I haven't dropped it or done anything unusual to it.
The important part is that this exact display issue happened previously, and Lenovo replaced the display at that time. Now, after some time, the same problem has returned.
I checked the laptop in BIOS, and the horizontal lines are visible there too. They don't appear in screenshots, so I'm assuming this is a physical display-connection issue rather than a Windows or software problem.
Sometimes the lines become much more noticeable, and after completely shutting down and starting the laptop again, the display can temporarily look much better, although the lines may still be present.
What's worrying me is the repair history of this laptop. In around two years, I've already had multiple major hardware issues, including the display, battery and motherboard. Now the display is showing problems again.
Unfortunately, my warranty has expired, and I'm a student, so paying for another expensive display replacement would be extremely difficult for me.
I've already submitted a service request to Lenovo and explained the complete history. I'm hoping they might consider a goodwill repair/replacement because the same display issue has happened again after Lenovo previously replaced the panel.
