Warranty Experience, No physical Store

I'd love to hear some other experiences from people going through warranty in places with no physical google store. The stories I've seen where people have access to one seem amazing, and really convenient, great experiences, but Im having problems my my P9F, and the options I have in australia seem to be really terrible

I can either

  • be without a phone for who knows how long while my phone is sent of for potential repair
  • get a new phone sent out to me, but if my warranty is declined, Im automatically charged for the new PF11 that was sent out, with no other option
  • Go back to JB-HiFi, the retailer I bought it from, and go through the potential repair option, but through them as a middleman

Speaking to google support, they did refer me out to a partnered repair shop, but they seem to not be able to do anything, just confirm that they any needed parts are discontinued (or at least not sent to repair shops) and effectively start the repair or replacement processes on my behalf.

To make things even more complicated, the repair shop spotted a scuff on my phone, which had been there for faaaar longer than the issues, and told me that google will call that physical damage and deny any warrantly claim.

I'd love to know if anyone's had a similar experience, and if there are any tips/tricks to go through the google processes

(Pics attached of the "damage")

Edit: realised I didnt actually say what the issues were,

Its mainly performance, opening the screen can take a while for anything to render on the inner screen, the rear-camera selfie reature just does not work, the outer screen not turning on when the phone is open, and the ineer screen chugging, and most unresponsive

[Hollow Knight: Silksong] The Shade Lord's presence does not mean 'Into the Void' is canon

Something I've seen a lot since silksong's been out and about is:
"Seeing the shade lord means that the canon ending must be 'into the void'"

I think this is wrong for a couple of reasons, the main one being that Team Cherry want to keep things vague and open to allow for the player to figure out which ending is canon, they've even stated that to them all ending are canon, so they're likely to cater to that idea and present info that could work for any ending.

On top of that, making the DLC side quest ending the canon one feels narratively dissapointing. It renders much of the main story moot, and bypasses the character growth Hornet goes through in the lead up to her own adventure.

The main evidence I've seen for 'Into the void' being canon though is just that it's the only other place that we've seen the shade lord, so while it could be canon, its not the only reason the shade lord could exist.

We know what the shade lord is, the manifestation of the Knight's will imposed on the void, but this could happen however the knight encounters the void, and in the 'Dream no more' ending, we don't know the knight's fate, they could have returned to the void like all the other siblings, their purpose finished with the radiance destroyed. There has been plenty of time for the shade lord to devlop from the knight between games.

Personally, my headcannon is that the 100% endings for both games are canon, and the knight's will persists in the void after returning there from 'Dream no more' but that might change the more we see.

tl;dr: seeing the shade lord doesn't mean 'into the void' is canon, we can get there from other endings

Looking for Fireball deck suggestions

My partner has agreed to give commander a go, Is completely new to magic and in her words "just wants to blow things up with fireballs"

Would love some suggestions of places to start putting something together. Preferably in rakdos or jund and as straightforward as possible to play. Just go fast and explode things
