Quick one guys, I sent my tax returns for the last few years to give some sort of evidence that I worked at these places. I sent in 7 different jobs in the past 4 years, just the tax returns. Am I dumb for doing that? Will that help show that I worked places if they are still trying to verify employment stuff? Will that suffice or did I mess up? Should I do more? Trying to be proactive since the companies are ignoring the VA. Thank you all

A little background. Army Infantry Vet, Afghanistan. Already rated for PTSD, the rest for hearing and burning stuff overseas.

Anyway, Had my FaceTime appointment with the provider today. TDIU. I’ve really struggled. A lot. Been thinking of Suicide almost daily( just thinking about it, I won’t do it) Depressed, feeling worthless, a failure as a provider, a loser, you name it. That’s me.I can’t keep a job, been fired from so many maintenance positions I can’t find anywhere else that will hire me. Showing up late, missing days, no call no show. I’m hoping I’m approved the only thing I’m worried about is me being honest with them. I told them I smoke cannabis daily because, well, I do. I was then asked questions about when I started smoking daily and when my symptoms started, blah blah blah. Felt like she was going to use that to say I’m not service connected, it’s because of cannabis use.

Sorry, I don’t have anyone to talk to, just needed to vent that real quick.
