26052508372925 - Seiko Mod Order Delayed-No Clarity on Product Status
Placed an order for a Seiko Mod on 25 May 2026.
At the time of ordering:
• Sourcing date on the website was shown as 09 Jun
• Guaranteed delivery date was shown as 27 June
Immediately after placing the order, both dates were pushed back significantly, with the guaranteed shipping date eventually moving to around 20 July. (That’s 2 months from the date of order)
I reached out to your representative on whatsapp who assured me that the watch would be shipped by 20 June, so I decided to wait instead of cancelling.
Product was enroute authentication center by 10th June
And reached Authentication Center by 19th June
The timeline displayed that authentication would be completed within 3 days and the product would be shipped shortly afterwards.
However, as of 24 June:
• Authentication has still not been completed
• Every day, the “authentication initiation” date simply shifts to the current day
• There has been no shipment update
I contacted support again and received a call from your team. The representative acknowledged that there is a delay but also admitted that they currently do not know whether the product has even been received for authentication. They said they need to check with their operations team and get back to me within a day.
My concern is not just the delay itself, but the lack of visibility and conflicting information:
I am currently waiting for the response from your support team member who has ensure that they will share an update by 25th Jun
If any satisfactory response is not received I will evaluate my options under consumer protection laws, as the order was accepted with a guaranteed delivery date and subsequent timeline changes were made after payment. If the order is not fulfilled or resolved promptly, I may consider pursuing a formal consumer complaint for deficiency in service and misleading representations regarding delivery timelines.
