Are live rosin carts worth the price jump?

Hi all. Looking to solicit opinions on live rosin carts and whether they’re worth the price.

I have experimented with both distillate and live resin carts and just find the experience kinda…lacking. Saw someone describe it as “diet weed” and would say that’s accurate to my experience. High just feels very flat, one-dimensional, head-heavy compared to smoking flower.

I love the convenience and portability of carts, though, so I’m wondering if trying out a live rosin cart is worth it. I understand any cart isn’t going to perfectly replicate the experience of flower, but is there a measurable difference between live resin and live rosin in terms of the high? I am still new-ish to anything that’s not flower, so I’m not sure if live rosin would improve upon my experience, or if this is just what carts are like.

TIA for any input!

Do I actually have a long QTc interval?

Qaly app spits out abnormal QTc at me every so often. Not sure how trustworthy it is. Usually comes back in the 470-490 range when it does flag.

I am sick right now so don’t mind the high HR.

Non-typical presentation/weird symptoms?

Hi all. I'm sure you get posts like this often, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what's been going on with me lately and would be very grateful for some insight. I have had a small handful of migraines in the past, which is what leads me to ask here.

I guess my main question is, is it possible for migraines to have, like, a prodrome? I abruptly started feeling weird as hell a couple days ago, and have had a hard time figuring out what's causing it.

The primary symptom I've been dealing with is intense, profound brain fog. I don't even really know how to describe it without sounding batshit insane. It feels like my head is, like...buzzing? Particularly in my forehead and behind my eyes. Have felt very floaty, foggy, not with it, etc. Had a very hard time focusing on work yesterday and just barely made it through. I would almost compare the feeling to being stoned, but I laid off on the weed a couple of days ago when I first started to feel weird.

Some other weird symptoms I've been having that may or may not be related:

- Random bouts of intense, irrational irritation. Like, STUPID irritated over the dumbest shit, including my own brain fog and inability to focus.
- Peeing every fifteen minutes??? Like clockwork
- CONSTANT yawning and eye watering. Physically exhausted but had a hell of a time getting to sleep last night
- Mild shortness of breath. HR and O2 are normal. I am overweight and smoke so this is not necessarily a migraine-specific problem for me

I know that this probably comes off neurotic, but I've never, in my life, been spaced out like I was yesterday. It does feel a tad bit better today than it did yesterday, and I am starting to have twinges of the more traditional left-side-of-the-head pain. Just wanted to see if I could confirm my suspicion of a migraine before I tear off to urgent care. I haven't had a migraine in over a year, so this one, if that's what it is, kind of caught me off guard.

Thank you!

I made a post about a week ago about anticipatory grief while facing putting both of our dogs down.

Just wanted to post a follow-up thanking you guys for the response to that post, and for this sub just existing in general. We ended up only putting one of our dogs down (the other got a last-minute hopeful prognosis from the vet, so we are tentatively going to pursue further treatment/QoL maintenance). My sweet bubba boy, Cass, passed away peacefully in his bed, with my husband and I cuddling him, and a belly full of steak and brownies and too many treats to count. He slipped away with my husband and I holding him and telling him how loved he was, how deeply he’d be missed, and that we’d see him when we got there. Wherever “there” is. He was buried in our yard, with his bed and blanket and his favorite toy, amongst the chickens he so loved to chase around.

I am having a lot of complicated feelings about all of it - the decision to put him down, the decision to bury him, his last moments, the last week that we spent together. I am heartbroken, regretful, grateful, and just deeply, deeply missing him. But I really do think that the words some of you shared with me last week helped me be intentional about my time with him, and helped me understand and put together how I wanted his end of life to be and what I wanted to say to him in those final moments. Your words of comfort and encouragement genuinely helped so, so much. Thank you guys. This has been the most difficult, gut-wrenching experience of my entire life, but you guys made it just a little less difficult.
