Question about VR gaming on AVP
Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice, I was thinking about getting the PSVR2 controllers to set up PCVR gaming on my Apple Vision Pro. But before I dive completely into the rabbit hole of getting it and setting it up, I wanted to double check if my PC specs are actually up for the task.
Here are my specs:
CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900KF (3.20 GHz)
RAM: 32.0 GB DDR4 (3200 MT/s)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB VRAM)
I know the i9 and 32GB of RAM are great, but I’m slightly worried about the RTX 4060 and its 8GB of VRAM, but then again I know almost nothing about all this.
Will I be able to play solid PCVR games (like Half-Life: Alyx, or any other good recommended VR games) smoothly, or am I going to hit a massive bottleneck with the GPU?
Any tips on what settings I should tweak or expectations I should manage would be heavily appreciated. Thanks in advance!
