I have a full time job. Is it worth it to buy Upwork connects and applying to work in Upwork and earn a good side revenue? My target is 500$-1000$ a month. Suggest me plans as a beginner. I have experience working as independent freelancer outside of Upwork as well. I can put 15-20 hours per week.

Hi, I've been doing fullstack development, devops, infra for a startup for theee years. As a founding startup engineer I have thrown myself beyond the edge to get things done. I have fractional knowledge almost in all the parts of a product lifecycle starting from gathering requirements to maintaining the retainers. While I have been shipping for the customers, I have also trained and built the whole engineering team from one person to 10 person. I am currently the engineering manager(I still engage in day to day coding mostly for maintaining impenetrable ci/cd pipelines and SLAs.

For the last few months I've been looking to crack a few MNC or USA based IT companies, but mostly no luck. The most I have got so far was upto the take home assignment in two hirings. Although I can tell the assignments were completed as instructed and looked very professional. I still got rejected. Most of the time I don't get a reply on the first place or I get rejected after the video interview. I haven’t even been able to go upto technical round which could prove my inabilities and gaps.

I have a very clean and professional resume, reviewed by people that actually work in a few of the places, I got a high score in Toptal's ATS.

The experience is same so far with remote jobs based on the USA. Have you ever experienced this? What is your suggestion?
