Got tired of buying water…

Got tired of spending 3-4$ and going to the store for distilled water so I picked up a distiller. I thought the cleaner is a vevor might as well pickup a vevor brand distiller.

I use 4-6 gallons a week usually clean 20-30 albums a week. Cost savings, less plastic bottles to discard and trips to the store. Also I enjoy being a little more self sufficient.

Picked up this Napa valley to hold my empties.

Just getting back into tapes, I keep some, sell some and I’ve encountered quite a few molded ones.

I picked up a Napa valley tape rack and filled it with all my empty shells with j cards and some actual tapes.

Couple tom petty in there I’ll try to marry up if I come across good naked tapes. Most the rest of it is country and gospel.

Probably pull the George strait at some point and sell those. I’m planning to buy nice tapes I’ll listen to and slowly replace these over the months.

I’ve just found most of the tapes I want are not cheap lol.

Edit: Apparently this a buffer* not a refinisher. My apologies.

I always wanted one of these and I made compromise. That when I obtained over 100 unplayable CDs that I would get one.

I hit 125 last week, did a little research, ordered it and it landed today.

So far I’ve restored 8 CDs that would not play, and I think I can restore almost all of the unplayable CDs I have.

I was skeptical but at about $5 per disc it’ll pay for itself at about the 55-60 disc mark (I ordered some extra supplies that should last a while).

Little bit of a learning curve but not too bad, setup about 6 pm and spent the next 5.5 hours restoring and verifying. It was a lot easier and worked much better than anticipated.

I’m sure some of you have one, I wish I would have picked one up a while back. I’ve passed over a lot of great CDs due to condition. I’ve also trashed hundreds of CDs due to condition. No longer!!
