What can Abbott HR disclose?

A loved one was let go at Abbott recently but with 6 weeks pay. The territory seems to have been eliminated but they were fired, not laid off. So technically can't be rehired.

But if the territory was eliminated and the company wanted to save money.....

What will Abbott disclose to future employers? I know the dates worked but will rehire eligibility be disclosed?

My son has around 15k in a 529 account from my parents. He started a roth this year and just got engaged. He put around 4k into his roth. He's in the trades so no further need for the 529 funds.

They're getting married later this year and currently living in a 1b1b apartment. They want to buy a house in the next year or two and have about 150k combined income.

I think we should roll 3500 of the 529 into the roth in 2026. And then another 7500 in 2027. But to meet the 10k first time homebuyers exception, does the roth have to be in place for 5 years? The 529 meets the 15 year rule. This is the main hiccup I'm finding for making this work.

Thanks in advance.

Just curious. Am almost 4 months into marpe and 3 months into aligners. I have angel aligners and am on aligner 10 out of 16. Weekly changes.

Then I think i get refinements and possibly a little chain on the back of my front teeth to close them? Teeth are V shaped
