I will never give SATA Airlines any of my money ever again

I’m first generation born in Canada, my parents immigrated like many in the 70s and kept a very strong bond to their native island. Just over ten years ago we bought a family home there and my elderly parents fly every year and spend 3-4 months there. As Azoreans they fly SATA mainly… this might be the last time.

My parents are in their late 70s early 80s and as you can imagine my sister and I do our best to help them get there in an ever more confusing process of travelling for the elderly. My parents fly there every year with their small dog… yesterday in Montreal as they are about to fly out there were told that at the last minute they cannot bring their beloved pet, this after doing it for the past half a dozen years without issue.

This pet is a small dog that is very quiet and sleeps 90% of the way during travel in a small carrier. My parents were forced to leave her behind with my sister and fly out, as you can imaging this left my mom extremely distraught. We’re now scrambling to figure out if we can ship her there or we will be hosting here which is not a huge issue for us. My feelings are purely for the emotional stress this has caused my elderly parents and who have been faithful SATA travellers. They showed no compassion and flexibility at the at the gate.

What was with the press this morning at the PDL airport?

We arrived on the Air Canada flight from Toronto on June 12 and there was a bunch of people that looked like press waiting and waving with cameras and interviewing passengers .

Was this the first AC flight to SM?

Finally picked up the inflator

I've had it on my wishlist for over a year, noticed that over the winter the price acutally went up to $209 CAD but which kept me from pulling the trigger, recently dropped down back to the price I was willing to buy it for ($179 CAD) and on top of that Canadian Tire was having a promotion this week where if you spent a $150on you'd get $30 CAD in Triangle Money. I know I've seen a few posts raving about it but I'm still suprised at how well it works.

Question to those who have it. Do you keep it in your car?
