Moved into a new house a couple of months ago. When I painted my office I used frog tape on the ceiling and after I finished painting and removed it, it pulled off large pieces of layers of paint almost all the way around the room.

Whats the easiest way to smooth this out so I can repaint? Is sanding down my only option? I’d really rather avoid sanding as it will be super messy and it’s in my office which I need to use.

We keep finding large amounts of these little flies dead on the floor in one part of the house. Have not seen a single living one. What are these and how do we make them go away?
