Anyone else just hit their halfway point?

Feels pretty good to be halfway to my goal. Thots been 16 weeks so far. Curious where everyone else is at in their journey. How much have you lost, and how much more do you want to lose?

M34 | 5’9.5” | SW: 209 | CW: 195.4 | GW: 165 | 46 days in… does anyone else get impatient even when things are going well?

M34 | 5’9.5” | SW: 209 | CW: 195.4 | GW: 165
I’m down 13.6 lb in 46 days, so objectively things are going really well. I lift 3x/week, walk around 8k steps/day, count calories and protein, and the medication has made sticking to my plan so much easier.
But mentally… I’m surprised by how impatient I am.
Every morning I enjoy seeing the scale trend down, but then I realize I’m still 30 lb from my goal and it suddenly feels like the finish line is light-years away.
I know logically that 46 days isn’t very long. If someone told me 2 months ago I’d already be down almost 14 lb, I’d probably be thrilled. But when you’re living it day by day, it somehow feels slow.
I catch myself thinking, “I just want to wake up and already be there.”
Does anyone else go through this, even when your progress is objectively good?
What helped you stay patient and enjoy the process instead of constantly focusing on how far away the end goal still is?
Or is this just a normal part of a long weight-loss journey?

Down 10.4 lb in 30 days — saving the progress pics for 165 lb or 15% body fat

Started at 209 lb on June 17 and weighed in at 198.6 lb today, so I’m officially down 10.4 lb and finally under 200.
I’m probably somewhere around 30% body fat right now, so I still have a lot of progress to make. I’m going to hold off on posting progress pictures until I either reach 165 lb or 15% body fat, whichever happens first. Honestly, those 2 goals may end up happening around the same time.
Hopefully I can get there by Thanksgiving. That may be ambitious, but everything has been moving in the right direction so far, and I’m excited to see what the next few months look like.
For now, I’ll keep tracking the daily weigh-ins, calories, protein, workouts, steps and doses and continue posting updates along the way.

34M, down 8.4 lb in 4 weeks. Stay at 3.4 mg or move up for shot #5?

I’m a 34-year-old male and still pretty new to tirzepatide and Reddit, so I’m curious what people here would do in my situation.
I started on June 17 at 209.0 lb and weighed 200.6 lb today, so I’m down 8.4 lb. My goal weight is 165 lb.
My doses so far:
June 17: 2.5 mg
June 24: 2.5 mg
July 1: 2.5 mg
July 7: 3.4 mg
Today is shot #5
I also lift weights 3 times per week, average about 8,000 steps per day, and track both my calories and protein.
The clinic gave me the attached dosing instructions, which recommend increasing weekly until side effects appear and then returning to the previous dose.
The problem is that I keep seeing very different opinions. Some people say to stay at the lowest effective dose for as long as possible. Others say staying too low for too long is not ideal. Then other people agree with increasing each week until you reach a dose that causes side effects or gives you the level of appetite control you need.
I’m still losing weight, but the appetite suppression and food-noise reduction are not as strong as they were during the first couple of weeks. My main side effect has been fatigue. During the first week, I felt extremely energized and focused, almost like I was on Adderall. Lately, it has felt more like a sleeping pill.
For shot #5, would you stay at 3.4 mg, move up slightly, or follow the clinic’s schedule more closely?
I’d especially like to hear how long you stayed at the lower doses, what dose worked best for you, and what made you decide it was time to increase.
