Give it a try with a new piston, or it's done ?

This is a Stihl 024's cylinder, the original piston of it is worn badly. The cylinder doesn't have deep scratches. Should i give a try with a new piston or not ? Thanks !

Ms 660

The engine rebuilt from aftermarket parts, cylinder+piston are from Meteor. Only few parts like the plastics, flywheel etc. are salvaged from another Ms 660.
