The bias writers have for Mustafa is very obvious, because why is Mehmed not doing anything, not saying anything?

I’m rewatching S3 and Mehmed literally went to two campaigns without even saying anything. He’s just standing there. I know he’s mostly there to learn, but he’s completely opinionless.

He’s naive and clueless. He tells Mustafa about Suleiman’s dream of him being on the throne, making Mustafa wary of him from that point forward. He doesn’t know history about his grandfather (Selim I) and his great grandfather (Bayezid II). Like this is recent history..
When he gets assigned to Manisa, instead of being grateful, he gets sad and feels bad for Mustafa. Then, he goes to Mustafa and tells him he’s been assigned to Manisa.???

It’s hard to believe that Hürrem would allow for Mehmed to be this naive and trusting, even if she wanted to protect him and not involve him in political schemes that could hurt him. There’s just no way this is Hürrem’s son yall.

Idk it just pisses me off.
