Recently we have been taking a lot of test drives, and talking to strangers over their ownership experience with their car before we finalize.

My father has made up his mind to go for an EV specifically the Nexon or Punch.

But I have an opposing thought, that EVs are still not worth it and quite frankly speaking they just feel like lifeless boxes attached with wheels and a lot of electronics. Electronics and tech is where my parents struggle a lot. Finally I have my heart on the Suzuki Jimny, a very capable car with a proven track record in reliability and long term usage.

Help me change father saab's mind / give me your opinion.
