High(er) miles club

Bought at auction (red light from a Jag dealer in FL) in 2020 with 160k miles.

She arrived with a golf course membership sticker and a radar detector installed in the grill.

Immediately installed new Bilsteins and Pirellis after purchase due to miles.

Recently reupholstered driver seat, paid for valley plate job, and added "Viknav" CarPlay/Android Auto unit

Paid roughly $21k total thus far.

The best vehicle on the road. (And anything that came out of that factory.)

This seems like a bargain. Is it?

Should I pursue this? It seems very cheap. If it needs a little fixing it still looks pretty good. Thoughts?

Zenni has great customer service

The app was measuring to the edge of my iris, not my pupil. It was nearly 7mm off.

Heads up to anyone using this service...get your PD from the optometrist as the app is suspect and you'll get headaches.

12 Weeks and 16lbs / CEA questions

Got her at 8 weeks and she was 11lbs. They grow so fast.

She has two copies of CEA. Had the first vet visit two days ago and it was all doom and gloom (blindness, eye surgery, etc.)

It seemed like this was the first time the vet had heard of it and was covering her bases. Can anyone chime in and put my wife at ease?...or will our pup definitely have eye issues?

24hr Bottom Round "roast beef"

Should've cut off the fat cap. Had to cut it off as sandwiches were made. Local grocery store had it for $4.99/lb

Rub was pretty standard: 2tbsp salt, 2tbsp pepper, 1tsp each of onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

24 hours at 135, then seared in a hot pan.

Served hot like Arby's at first, but it's much better on a cold sandwich the next day imo.

Ear tape removal

We just got her yesterday and her ears are taped. I know it's heresy, but we don't think this is humane and would like to remove the tape ASAP.

Any recommendations on the simplest and least painful way to do this?
