In my last 2 weeks at accenture, my account manager asked me to charge my project hours to “training” on my final timesheet. They said the account really needs the money and this would be very helpful. What do you think about this? Is this even legal?
Is there any bot that can give a warning to non-English chat? I speak English on my streams, but I have a heavy and pretty recognizable accent, so people constantly come in and start chatting in that language. I usually give a verbal warning saying that in my chat we speak English, but they usually don't give a crap and just keep going, and most of the time they aren't even very nice. So I would love to have a bot that would give a first-time warning, and if they continue, just time them out. I know about mods, but just imagine a scenario where they aren't available at the moment.
I announced on stream that I needed mods and the people who reached out weren’t the ones I wanted. A lot of chatters just want the badge so they can feel important. I have one mod on both YT and Twitch who shows up almost every stream, but they’ve started acting cocky and like they run the place. I don’t want to lose the only consistent help I have, but I also don’t want that energy in chat. Do you just say it live and hope the right people speak up? I don’t use Discord and I don’t think there’s a real way to message people privately on Twitch to ask being a mod.
Osmo Mobile 8 footage was perfectly smooth 2 days ago, but now I’m getting tiny micro shakes on every step/movement in the footage. Tried recalibrating and recording with different apps, no change. Got it in December, so it’s still pretty new. Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix it?
Shopping around for a Cloud OBS server. Experimented with local OBS on my MacBook but don't want to rely on my home computer anymore, even screen brightness was causing frame drops and hiccups. I'm looking at: AntiScuff $90/mo, IRLHosting $79/mo, IRLToolkit $129/mo. Anyone have experience with these? Any other services worth considering?
I'm currently testing Streamrun ($25/mo), seems promising but BRB only triggers on full disconnect.
