In a dilemma! We own a fully paid off Volkswagen Tiguan in australia. Thinking to ship it as we are relocating soon.

Shippign cost all inclusive is 5200 gbp with processing time between 4 to 6 months. We have plenty parking space whwre we are moving to.

If we sell it we may get 9k gbp ( bought is for 15k gbp in aus). We might need to spend 20k gbp to buy a similar car.

Very confusing as we are moving in 3 weeks :(

Planning to apply for married spouse visa outside uk via cash savings route.

Our bank statements for our joint account is where cash is held for last 6 months.

For some reason we cannot simply generate 1 statement covering last 6 months. Only way we can do is attach multiple monthly statements for some months ( June, July and Aug) and a 3 month statement for Feb to May.

Will this be a problem?

Also we hit the minimum 88.5k on Feb 26 but the first statement shows transactions from Feb 20 that is below this amount. We will mention this in our declaration letter that the 6 month period is from Feb 26 to Aug 26. Will this be ok?

Hello,

We are planning to apply for a spouse visa under Category D from outside the UK.

We have the required amount saved in our joint Australian bank account. The source of these funds is from the salaries of both my husband and myself.

We will be providing a copy of a 6-month joint account statement where these savings are held along with a letter declaring the source of funds.

My question is, do we also need to also provide statements for the bank accounts where our salaries were originally credited to prove the source, as we transferred funds from our respective salary accounts into our joint account?

We are preparing for spouse visa application to be lodged soon.

We are married for the last 8 years and will ve applying from Australia via category D. Husband is the sponsor and we live with our daughter here.

Questions if you could please help with -

1. Do we have to provide relationship evidence for last 2 years?

2. We are providing timeline pictures covering last 10 years, joint cover letter, lease agreement for past 2 years, child's birth certificate with our names, joint bank statemwnt with our names and address. Is that enough proof? Do we need to also provide flight tickets as a family?

3. Evidence such as utility bill (both our names with address on it) do we provide the latest bill or provide bills for the last 2 years? Is that too much?

4. I will be applying using my NZ passport but I also have an Indian OCI ( Overswas Citizen of India) its not a passport itself but a document that provided me with entry to India indefinitely as I cannot hold dual citizenship and had to give up Indian citizenship for my NZ citizenship.

We are relocating to West London (Uxbridge) in Oct this year from AU.

My 3.5 yr old daughter goes to nursery 5 days a week here so would like to contihue this once husband and I find jobs. Could take a couple of months so thinking to put her in daycare around Dec.

Can you please help with below questions -

( I have been reading up info on this but it is very confusing!)

1. Do we have to book a spot for her in advance or is it easy to get a spot closer to the time?
2. Do we both need to be employed or one of us to be eligible for 30 hours free?
3. What is the approximate cost per week or per month for 5 days a week full time childcare?

Planning to apply for spouse visa in a few months from Melbourne. I understand we can book priority service when we proceed to book biometric on VFS website. My question is whether priority service is always available to select or are there only a few slots for each day/month etc to choose this option.

Please advice.
