Are people in Spain cordial with Americans?

My family and I are visiting Spain this August (Madrid, Bilbao) and I’m a little nervous about going. Given the circumstances of our idiotic President, there would obviously be many reasons as to why they wouldn’t like us. I know little to no Spanish since I’ve found a love for French but I do want to learn a little in advance just to feel more secure. So, the question stands. Are people in Spain cordial with Americans? And is there anything I could do to help ease my anxiety or is there something I could do to prepare for the trip?
Edit: omg I was not expecting this many replies so tysm everyone! Also, thank you for being honest and blunt bc I feel comfortable knowing that spaniards don’t really give a fuck unless I’m entitled or a jerk (which will never happen in a million years bc Im a massive people pleaser lol)

Face mask for teen skin?

Hi guys! I’m wondering if you could give me recommendations on face masks that are good for teenage skin! Im 16yo and on tret/dapsone gel. I have combo/ oily skin too. I’m not looking for one with a bunch of active ingredients (hence the tretinoin) and Im very much aware about over consumption and ingredients that are harmful for my skin since Im young. I want to make it clear that I don’t want anything with collagen or anti aging treatments also. I’m honestly looking for a mask that doesn’t come in so much plastic and is one use only. Yk those masks that come in a container and I need to get a spoon or something to put in on my face? I would like recs in those kinds of containers that I can use mainly for studying as some kind of motivation! Thank you!

Are mechanical pencils or regular (wooden) pencils better for the environment?

I am a 16yo girl that will be a junior in hs and I am very environmentally aware thanks to my mom! My mom always told me that the regular or wooden pencils are better for the environment than mechanical pencils but now I’m not so sure. Ive been using regular pencils since kindergarten but recently they’ve been kind of a pain to sharpen and to use. So, are mechanical pencils better for the environment? If so, what brands would you recommend and which ones I should stay away from?
Edit: thank you guys so much for your advice! When I go back to school shopping Im going to look into buying mechanical pencils (fingers crossed my mom lets me get them because she’s the one that has been against mechanical pencils. She thinks they’re worse for the environment 😅)

Best mousse for fine, 2a, 2b, 2c, waves?

Hi guys! Im fairly new to Reddit so please bear with me😅 As said in the text above, I have fine wavy hair. It’s healthy since I take care of it but I was never really taught how to deal with wavy hair. Is there any mousses or gels that people love that works for my hair type? I would preferably like a product that is amazing on its own and doesn’t require much work because I have a chronic illness. I’m open to any tips/ product recommendations. Thank you so much and I hope you have an amazing day!

What is the difference between shaving cream and shaving oil?

I am a 16yo girl and Ive been using shaving cream since I was 11 (on my legs, armpits, and sometimes down there although I just trim it now). I was recently diagnosed with POTS and so shaving can be a real hassle. It honestly just drains me but I still want to do it. Anyway, Im trying to know the difference between shaving cream vs oil and which one is efficient while also being less time consuming. I love shaving creams because I can see where I didn’t shave more easily and they also make my skin feel soft. But now I’m not sure because I hear oils make your skin really smooth and they don’t take up so much time. Pls help and I’m open to any suggestions😭

Best Earl grey tea perfume?!

Hi everyone!! I am looking for an earl grey perfume that is on the sweeter side with notes like vanilla, and sweet milk(?) too. My mom recently passed and it has been really hard for me to cope with her loss. She always drank earl grey tea with a little bit of milk and I want to wear a perfume like that in memory of her. Can someone give me any suggestions please? I would like the price to be on the more affordable side, but anything works!!
