Did T-Mobile change how international data count against Kickback limit for those who still have it?

I’m currently on my first international trip since forced migration. My entire account is spared from it and I still have Kickback after a full billing cycle.

I just got a text alert from T-Mobile that I’ve used 1.6GB already this month on one of my lines. I know for a fact that as recently as this past March, international data usage doesn’t count against Kickback limit as it’s in a different bucket. This standard message seems to imply that my international data is now eating into the 2GB allowance for kickback discount.

I’ll report back when my statement closes in a week to see if it actually is now counted toward kickback limit.

As a precaution to getting down voted: Yes I know I’m lucky that I still have my legacy plan and Kickback. I’m just posting to report this change.

Edit: I don’t know if data usage in Canada & Mexico is in the same bucket as domestic. I know that Canada & Mexico get its own 5GB allowance and the rest of the world gets a separate 5GB per month. However, I’ve travelled in Mexico before and didn’t get this kickback message. So, something definitely has changed. Looking in T-Life, it seems that T-Mobile is counting all data usage on a single line, combined with domestic, hot spot and international roaming. At least that’s what the graphic reflects.

Robinhood / Coastal Community Bank offers instant credit after payment from a checking account

Last month, I maxed out the card and made a payment from a linked checking account. This was the first time I noticed that available credit was instantly restored, it even was explicitly shown on the payment confirmation screen.
I made an in person purchase with Apple Pay a few hours later, for less than $11, the system took away the instantly restored credit. I waited almost 7 days to see the payment fully posted.

This month, I didn’t use my card that much. I made a full payment on the last day the statement balance is due, and Robinhood again instantly restored my available credit. I used a virtual card for an online purchase within an hour, and the newly restored credit is still there.

I think that there’s no official acknowledgement of instant credit restoration from paying with a checking account, it is indeed offered to seasoned account. I received my first ever credit limit increase two months ago.

A returned payment, suspended cards, a limit increase, all on same day

It’s funny that these can happen on the same day, and the PSL increase happened after auto suspension of all cards.

I submitted a small payment from a new checking account that somehow Amex was not able to pull. It got my account locked but a subsequent payment instantly restored my account. I had to chat with support for them to unlock other parts of the account because I also used spending power checks to see if an upcoming large purchase would go through.

This is on an account that has gone through two FRs, most recently in December last year.
